Located on the original settlement spot of Old Westport, a trading center and stopping-off point for wagon trains headed west, Westport Square offers more than 50 shops, boutiques, restaurants, and galleries.

NELSON-ATKIN MUSEUM OF ART

KANSAS CITY ZOO

Native habitats include.  African veldt, tropics, sea lion pool, ape house, the cat walk display, and an impressive water fowl exhibit.

LIBERTY MEMORIAL (currently under renovation)

Visitors will enjoy the panoramic view of Kansas City from atop this 217-foot high World War I Memorial.  Also located here is a World War I museum featuring the only archives and library devoted to the study of World War I in North America.

WORLDS OF FUN/OCEANS OF FUN

 

This theme park covers 157 acres with over 100 attractions, shows, and rides. Also visit Oceans of Fun, a 60-acre water recreational complex.  Hours vary with the season.
